The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the "Professional Accreditation" program, launched the "Professional Verification" service in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the first phase of the service will be gradually implemented in 62 countries through a unified platform that seeks to be the complementary tool to raise the efficiency of the market and improve the quality of manpower in it, in accordance with the Ministry's strategy aimed at building an attractive labor market and empowering and developing the work environment.
The service aims to ensure that the expatriate worker obtains documented scientific qualifications before entering the Saudi labor market and focuses on professions and jobs that require the worker to obtain an educational and academic qualification, in addition to verifying the compatibility of the academic qualification with the level, educational field, and experience required for the profession.
The "Occupational Verification" service will contribute to raising the level of quality of expatriate labor in the Kingdom, ensuring that academically unqualified workers do not flow into the labor market, in addition to harmonizing and taking expertise and skills into account.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks, through the "Professional Accreditation" program, to regulate the labor market, improve the quality of employment, raise the level of professional services provided, and enhance productivity.
