Eastern Region Empowerment Forum: A Step Towards Self-Reliance and Achieving Vision 2030

Today, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 (Dhul-Hijjah 27, 1445 AH), the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched the Eastern Region Empowerment Forum. The forum was attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Regulations, Dr. Hamad Al-Hammad, and the Director of the Ministry's Branch in the Eastern Region, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sammari.


Objectives of the Forum

The forum aims to empower capable beneficiaries of the social services system, specifically social security beneficiaries in the Eastern Region, by providing them with the means to achieve self-reliance and align with labor market requirements. This forum is part of the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program.


Job and Financial Opportunities

In his speech, Dr. Hamad Al-Hammad highlighted the key activities of the forum, noting that it offers more than 1,800 job opportunities and numerous financial opportunities. These opportunities are provided by 30 partner entities from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, targeting over 4,000 social security beneficiaries registered to attend the forum.


Training Courses and Workshops

The forum offers more than 18 training courses covering essential skills such as interview techniques, career counseling, and career aptitude identification. Additionally, the workshops provide comprehensive coverage of freelance culture, product pricing, and introductions to key partners in entrepreneurship and productive projects.


Promoting Work Culture and Motivation

The forum aims to promote a culture of work and motivate beneficiaries to seize empowerment opportunities that match their abilities and skills. By providing these training courses and workshops, the forum seeks to enable beneficiaries to achieve financial independence and self-reliance, thereby improving their quality of life and enhancing their contribution to economic development.
