Launching the Commercial Registry Inquiry Service via "Tawakkalna": A Step Towards Enhancing Transparency in the Saudi Commercial Sector

Amid ongoing technological advancements and efforts to improve government services, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, in cooperation with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority ("SDAIA"), has launched an innovative service through the "Tawakkalna" app. This service enables commercial registry owners to easily access their business records. This initiative marks a significant transformation in handling commercial registries in the Kingdom, enhancing process speed and transparency.

Enhancing Access and Efficiency

It is noteworthy that this service offers beneficiaries instant access to information related to their commercial registries starting from its launch date on April 23, 2024. The service allows users to view the companies in which they hold shares and provides detailed information about the commercial registry status and owner details.

Multiple Benefits of the New Service

The new service not only provides information but also includes the ability to print the commercial registries in both Arabic and English, enhancing its usability. Additionally, it enables direct communication with the Ministry of Commerce and the Saudi Center for Business, adding significant value and improving the quality of the services provided.

Facilitation Provided Through "Tawakkalna"

Before this service was introduced, beneficiaries had to log in to the platform of the Saudi Center for Business to access commercial registry data. Now, with this service available through the "Tawakkalna" app, a fast and easy-to-use channel has been established, allowing quick access to required information without the need for complicated login processes or multiple platform visits.

Future Impact

The launch of this service is part of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at enhancing the quality of life by leveraging modern technologies to provide better and more effective government services. This step reflects the government's commitment to adopting technological innovations to promote economic and administrative development in the Kingdom and to provide a business-friendly environment that encourages investment and facilitates commerce.

Thanks to this service, business owners in the Kingdom can now manage their commercial registries more efficiently, supporting the commercial environment and enhancing the private sector's flexibility in dealing with market challenges and changes.
