Aviation professions localization: A step towards enhancing employment opportunities for citizens.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, has announced the commencement of the second phase of the licensed aviation professions localization program in the Kingdom. This step is part of the government's efforts to enhance local participation in the workforce and provide sustainable and motivating job opportunities for citizens.

In this phase, the targeted professions include cabin crew by 60% and fixed-wing pilots by 70%. It's worth noting that obtaining a professional accreditation certificate from the General Authority of Civil Aviation is required for these job opportunities to be realized.

In confirmation of joint efforts, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics has affirmed its commitment to overseeing the implementation of this phase and providing full support and employment opportunities for private sector establishments in this sector. This collaboration aims to provide a conducive work environment that encourages the recruitment and employment of national talents.

To clarify all aspects of the decision and its implementation mechanisms, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has issued a procedural guide explaining how to apply the decision and the support and employment programs available to private sector establishments in this sector.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to enhancing employment opportunities for citizens in vital sectors such as aviation, emphasizing the importance of enhancing local participation and providing a stable and motivating work environment for all.
