The Ministry of Commerce has announced the availability of applying for seasonal discount licenses for the Foundation Day for commercial establishments and electronic stores starting from February 8, 2024, electronically through: sales.mc.gov.sa.

The period for consumer discounts on the Foundation Day begins on February 15 and extends until February 29, 2024.

The electronic application aims to enable establishments and stores to easily obtain discount licenses, print them, and present them to consumers without losing any days from the annual discount balance.

Consumers can verify the legality and validity of discounts by scanning the "barcode" visible on the discount license with their mobile cameras, displaying all relevant information about the discounts, including the type, percentage, duration, and establishment data.

The Ministry has affirmed its commitment to continue inspection rounds to ensure the legality of discounts and oversight in all regions of the Kingdom.
