The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority has provided investors and business owners with the opportunity to obtain commercial municipal licenses and safety permits issued by the General Directorate of Civil Defense instantly. This is done through a service available on the business platform, allowing for the issuance of commercial municipal licenses and safety permits from the General Directorate of Civil Defense for economic activities (immediate). The aim is to facilitate the initiation and execution of economic activities in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority offers this new service to the business sector, enabling them to apply for the issuance of both licenses for over 600 commercial activities in one step after verifying several requirements.

Among these requirements are:

• The existence of a lease agreement, property deed, or site investment contract,
• The presence of a safety equipment invoice or a safety report from the Civil Defense for immediate activities,
• Ensuring compliance with the conditions of the mentioned activities in the Baladi Portal affiliated with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and the safety portal affiliated with the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
