The Social Insurance launches a 100% waiver initiative for late payment fines and violations.

The General Organization for Social Insurance has launched an initiative to waive late payment fines and violations imposed on employers and establishments. This is part of the organization's efforts to rectify non-compliant establishments, settle debts, alleviate financial impacts, and reinforce the insurance compliance principle to safeguard the rights of beneficiaries and employers.

The initiative, effective for six months from March 3, 2024, aims to ease the burden on establishments facing fines due to delays in subscription payments or violations. It encourages them to rectify their status to achieve insurance compliance by granting them a 100% waiver on these fines upon full payment of outstanding subscriptions.

The Social Insurance Authority invites all employers with accrued fines due to delayed payments or violations to benefit from this initiative. They can obtain full exemption through simple steps on the "My Business Insurance" platform, providing an integrated digital environment.

It's worth mentioning that the General Organization for Social Insurance, in its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction, previously launched the Zero Violations initiative. This initiative offered facilitations in the imposition rules stipulated in Article (62) of the Social Insurance System and Article (25) of the Unemployment Insurance System. These facilitations include graduated penalties for insurance violations, refraining from imposing fines on first-time discoveries, and granting statutory deadlines for rectifying violations without incurring penalties.
